It's when I spot something on Rightmove or Zoopla, I phone the agent, and funnily enough it's just had an offer yesterday - even though it's been advertised since 25th April 2014! Nearly a year ago. What a coincidence eh? That's what I've just been told this morning when I called them - anyway......
On the face of it this is quite a big property, the area isn't great but after a few checks the rent achievable should be around £800. So if this could be bought for £130-£135,000 then that's a 7.11% gross yield! Unfortunately there isn't any internal photo's so it could be a total wreck inside, but you can always adjust your offer to suit with cost of work examples to justify any reduction. The more / better examples you can give to the agent, the easier it is for them to negotiate with the seller.
